Rajiv Gandhi Scheme for Empowerment of Adolescent Girls (RGSEAG) Sabla

Our organization WARUDA is providing cooked food to adolescent girls of aging between 11 years to 16 years. Under WCD Department, GNCT.

The Jan Ahar scheme has been launched by the Delhi Government under which poor and low-income group people will be offered nutritious and delicious meal twice a day at a low price of Rs 15/-.

Chief Minister Sheila Dikshit, launching the scheme, said government ‘Jan-Ahar Yojana’ is aimed at providing nutritious food to poor and low-income group people working in factories, shops and other establishments.

The scheme is being implemented in association with a number of selected women’s organisations and NGOs having experience in cooking and providing healthy and nutritious food.

Officials said food will be prepared as per a weekly menu to be prepared by Nutrition Council of India.
